woo doggy!  it's been a really long time since i've written anything!  i guess i just kind of got out of the habit.  not a whole lot has been going on anyway.  the apartment is good, everything is moved to kc, just a few more boxes to unpack & pictures to hang.  work is going really well.  today is the last day of classroom training & we really don't have anything to do so we are playing games all day & ordered pizza for lunch.  so our normal lunch time is kind of pointless (thus the reason i have time to write right now) and we'll be eating in the classroom while playing more games.  it's been a fun morning but the day is drrraaagging by. 

night before last we went out to see one of john's friends from school & his wife (and their two adorable kids).  it was really cool cuz the wife & i talked all evening like good friends even tho we just met.  i really dig her, she's cool.  the kids are hyper as all get out, but very sweet & cute.  anyway, hopefully they are going to come out for dinner on sunday so i need to get the apartment all squared away & clean.  we still don't have a dresser so the bedroom door will just have to be closed.  and, speaking of bedroom furniture... the nice double-thick air mattress we've been using has started becoming about single-thick by morning.  sabina actually found the leak.  i saw her looking at the side of the mattress & batting at it a little and, lo & behold, there's a leak.  electrical tape didn't do too good of a patch job so i'm going to try the trusty duct tape when i get home. 

so, saturday's plan (and maybe tonight too) is to hang all the artwork & clean.  i need to find a way to fit laundry in somewhere too. 

as you can see, i don't have anything really interesting to report at the moment.  but, we are all alive & well & doing what it takes day-to-day as usual.  hopefully i can fit in more updates from here on out.
