i'm stealing defective yeti's latest post idea and talking about my kitties today.  i'm so glad to have them with us in KC, they keep me from feeling too homesick or lonely (when J is working and/or at school). 



here's sabina.  otherwise known as beana, bean, beaner, beanie baby, baby kitty or pooper.  i guess she's the big sister.  she's 11 years old now & i've had her since she was 3 months old.  she's been the one thing that been a constant for the last 11 years.  where i go, sabina goes.  she doesn't like anybody but me & when anybody comes in the house/room/whatever, she disappears.  actually, she does tolerate my mom & she seems to be learning to love J.  she has started sleeping on his legs instead of mine. 




then there's adidas... or didas, deed, fat bastard, fatty or silly kitty.  i got adidas from the humane society & they said he was an alley cat before they got him.  so they weren't 100% sure of his age.  he's probably about 7 years old now.  the last time i weighed him, he was 18 pounds.  he's chubby but he's also very muscle-y.  his neck & shoulders are especially solid.  he behaves more like a dog than a cat.  you can rough-house & play with him like a dog.  if there ever was a "man's cat", it's adidas.  his personality is so opposite from sabina.  he's all about the love.  he makes him presence known to anybody that comes in the house & makes them pet & love him. 

we are inching ever closer to getting into an apartment.  i can't wait to have more than one frickin' room!  i know the cats will be happier with more room too.  i just hate waiting... i'm SO impatient!  but for now, i'm going to chill with the tv & start on my new scarf.  yes, i'm an old lady who's going to crochete a new scarf.  i really know how to party.
