new favorite candy bar: take 5. i looked at the wrapper of one of these once & thought "geez, can they think of any other things to cram in this sucker?" but they are darn tasty. chocolate, peanut butter, nuts, pretzels... i feel like i'm forgetting something. anyway, they are very good. i'm not a big chocolate person expect for one time of the month *wink wink nudge nudge* and i'm wanting chocolate the past couple days. J is so darn wonderful. he went out to dinner with a classmate & to "study". they went to old chicago when the road house was too crowded. he came home with his leftovers (no big surprise) and a piece of turtle cheesecake. how sweet is that? now J is talking in his sleep. some of the stuff he says cracks me up. the other night he said "don't use anything big to hit me when we get outside". just now he said something about "four or five". the best is when he's obviously having a conversation with someone. the boy is entertaining asleep and awake. i have another interview tomorrow. this one isn't too exciting or special. it's actually a mass interview thing for quik trip. i'm not too excited about the hours i might have to work but quik trip has some really great benefits and they are in the forbes list of the top 20 companies to work for. i've thought about going back to retail type stuff before so maybe it'll be fun. i just want to get started working, as i've said before, so we can get our life going & get settled here. i'm really liking the kansas city area a lot. we've got some leads & suggestions on different apartment complexes. there are SO many in this area, around 1000 as we were told by one leasing agent. there are quite a few with garages (which you don't see too much back in STL) and that's one thing i'd really like to have, especially for when i have the jeep's top off in the summer. i think i'll eat my half of the cheesecake & try to get to sleep. my insomnia is rearing it's ugly head lately. i've had this plan to go for a late breakfast & do some job searching on the laptop at the panera bread in westport (the coolest panera/st. louis bread co. i've ever been to) but i keep getting up too late. they only serve the egg souffle thingy until 10:30... damn that thing is tasty. i finally got around blogger not wanting to upload my pics so click the "photoblog" link and check out some kc pics.
